If you watched the Slam Dunk Contest on Saturday night you were probably disappointed and/or bored. What a mess that thing was. I long for the old Slam Dunk contests. Back when the stars weren’t afraid to take part and most of the dunk attempts ended in actual dunks rather than humiliating misses.
Back in the day we had quality dunkers like Spud Webb, Michael Jordan, Vince Carter and Brent Barry. Speaking of Brent Barry, who do you think is the greatest white dunker? I know how I would vote…
Sooner or later people are going to realize that we tend to over-represent white athletes. Maybe its because they tend to be mediocre. I wouldn’t be surprised if we face severe racial backlash for our posts.
I think a roadtrip to visit thunder dan’s restaurant is in order…
I’ve heard of his restaurant…haven’t checked out any locations or the menu, though. I hope all of the items are basketball related.

Yes he could dunk. But he was a weasle of a team mate and Michael Jordon took him OUT before my eyes.

He of course is in position for a solo flight for a real dunk. Chambers never recovered. A dunker? Yes.
A Player? No. Even his All-Star MVP was ALL about the assists he got for uncontested lay-ups.
The best white dunker was Brad Davis….at 17.
At 6’3″. Before Maryland and Dallas made him tone it down and become ‘dependable’.
